Nick Harrison

Nick is a professional fight choreographer, actor, director, writer and radio personality. He graduated from the London Academy of Performing Arts in England in 1992, and has a Masters degree in directing from the University of Victoria and a PhD in Film and Theatre from the University of British Columbia. He has numerous film and television credits as an actor and stunt performer as well. He has stunt doubled celebrities such as Bruce Boxleitner, Jeff Goldblum, Jerry OConnell, Craig Bierko, Kevin Durand, and Patrick Warburton, to name a few.

In addition to writing and producing his own television show, The Nick the Guy Show on Urban Rush, he was also nominated for a Leo Award for Switch a film he produced and co-starred in. He has also been nominated for Jessie Richardson awards several times in Vancouver BC for his contributions to live theatre as a fight director. His co-creation with Ian Boothby, Swordplay, was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in 2005. He also co-wrote the internationally performed improvised play, Twisted Christmas Carol, with RPS.

He is currently the fight choreographer for Vancouver’s Shakespeare festival, Bard On The Beach, and busy filming Fools For Hire, which he co-wrote with Mike Cavers and Neil Every.
